Bitpanda Offers 13% APY Staking Rewards with TAO

Last updated:

Bitpanda is doubling the staking yield on Bittensor’s TAO token for 14 days. Starting today (April 28, 2026), the Vienna-based platform is running a two-week promotional offer giving users 13% APY on TAO staking, exactly twice the standard 6.5% rate. The window closes May 12.

The timing puts Bitpanda ahead of what could be significant institutional attention, with Grayscale and Bitwise both filing applications for a spot in the TAO ETF, with an SEC decision anticipated by August 2026.

How to stake TAO on Bitpanda

Participation requires a fully verified Bitpanda account. Once logged in, users head to the staking section, select TAO, and commit their holdings. The promotional rate applies automatically to eligible participants who stake during the April 28–May 12 window. Rewards accrue at 13% APY for 14 days, after which the standard 6.5% rate takes over. Bittensor is an open-source protocol that uses blockchain technology to create a decentralized machine learning network, where AI models train collaboratively and are rewarded in TAO based on the informational value they contribute to the collective.

Bittensor’s ultimate vision is to create a market for artificial intelligence that enables producers and consumers to interact in a trustless, open, and transparent manner.

TAO has a fixed supply of 21 million tokens and was issued through a fair launch with no pre-mine and uses a halving mechanism to control inflation. The network’s first halving occurred in December 2025, reducing block rewards by 50% to tighten TAO supply.

The network generated $43 million in real AI usage revenue during Q1, driven by active subnets. Bittensor’s market capitalization currently stands at approximately $2.33 billion.
