Earthquake Jolts Capital and Various Parts of the Country

An earthquake was felt in the capital Dhaka and various parts of the country. The tremor occurred around 11:42 PM on Sunday (June 7).

The tremor, which lasted for several seconds, was also reportedly felt in various districts.

However, detailed information regarding the earthquake’s magnitude and epicenter was not immediately available. So far, no reports of major damage or casualties have been received.
